The Lost Isles of Rheytonnia
Rheytonnia is the largest island in the group of islands referred to as “Greater Rheytonnia.” It’s name means “Land of the Free Men” in Old Ghaellish.
Geographically, it consists of rolling hills and plains on either coast, with dense forest covering the south and the interior. Down the middle of the isle the forest gives way to a towering mountain range.
The coasts and plains are home to the Ghaelles – a human group that fled the old world from an orcish invasion centuries ago. Their capital is on the northwest coast, and a major port city, Sharandon, is on the east coast.
